Ben Affleck has expressed serious concerns about the behavior of paparazzi outside his Beverly Hills home, calling them out for creating hazardous conditions that could endanger him and his family.
In a video obtained by TMZ, Affleck, 51, is seen stepping out of his car to confront a photographer who had been taking flash photos as he drove up his driveway. The actor, who shares his residence with wife Jennifer Lopez, was visibly upset by the incident.
“You’re gonna get me into an accident,” Affleck can be heard saying in the video. “Don’t flash your lights when someone is driving down the driveway.” He emphasized the danger posed by the bright flashes, noting, “I can’t see! You’re gonna get somebody hurt doing this s–t.”
Affleck’s frustrations were not solely for his own safety. He highlighted that one of his daughters was expected to arrive shortly after him and expressed his concern for her wellbeing as well. “If you flash the lights on her, you’re putting her in danger. Do you understand that?” he warned the photographer.
Affleck shares three children with ex-wife Jennifer Garner: Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12. The actor’s protective instincts reflect his ongoing efforts to shield his family from the intrusive and often aggressive tactics of paparazzi.
