Kim Kardashian might want to be more careful the next time she closes doors in her bathroom.
On Season Five, Episode Nine of the “The Kardashians,” Kim revealed she accidentally sliced off the tips of her index and middle finger on her left hand when she was in the bathroom closing her shower door.
Recalling the shocking moment, the Skims founder showed off her bandaged hand to the cameras.
She said she fell to her knees as soon as she noticed all the blood coming from her hand.
“I literally looked at my hand and then I fell to the ground,” she said. “I just grabbed the table and got on my knees because I just saw all this blood and it was like my bone sticking out a little bit and I just was like, ‘Get me help.’ I was like, ‘I need ice.’”
She described feeling frozen in place after the injury.
“I didn’t scream. I didn’t anything,” she continued in a confessional. “I was just like, ‘Help.’ I couldn’t do anything but freeze and you can’t even describe the pain, but your whole body goes into shock. It was more painful than childbirth.”
When Kim saw her doctor, she became concerned again. The reality TV star said he told her that her nails on her injured fingers might “never grow back.”
“I was like, ‘Oh, come on. Come on!” she joked.
To help her hand heal, Kim said she’s already done four hours of hyperbaric medicine, which is “the medical use of oxygen at a higher pressure level than our atmosphere,” per Penn Medicine. But even though she felt like the treatment was working, she said she didn’t have time to use hyperbaric medicine every day.
“Who has time?” she said.
While meeting up with her doctor, Kim joked that her injured fingers look like the “Saw 2” logo. However, she did receive good news that her hand is healing well and she wouldn’t have to get it amputated.
“100%” her doctor assured her.
“Listen, I think you dodged a bullet,” he added. “It could have been really bad.”
Back in March, Kim showed off her bandaged hand in an Instagram video for Skkn By Kim showing the contents of her bag.
