Cardi B is ending her marriage to Offset once again, as confirmed by TMZ.
Sources with direct knowledge of the situation say the split isn’t related to cheating but has been a long time coming. The couple has reportedly been growing apart for some time, with one source stating they are “just disconnected from each other.”
Back in December, Cardi hinted at relationship struggles on social media, saying, “You know when you just outgrow relationships… I’m tired of protecting people’s feelings… I GOTTA PUT MYSELF FIRST!” Despite attempts to work things out earlier this year, the distance between them continued to grow.
The split is described as “amicable,” and Cardi has already hired a divorce lawyer, seeking primary custody of their two children. The decision to divorce wasn’t made overnight but had been brewing for some time.
Cardi and Offset were married in 2017 and have two children together: 6-year-old Kulture and 2-year-old Wave. Cardi previously filed for divorce in 2020 but later withdrew the documents. However, sources say this time, she’s not changing her mind.
